Introduction
“In the Sengoku period, the young boy Kotaro is pursued by a band of Ming warriors. He finds refuge at the Aradera Temple where he meets Nanashi, a mysterious wandering man who has renounced his name and sheathed his sword. Kotaro’s pursuers, in league with the Lord Akaike, track them down at the temple, where Nanashi faces them.
Learning that the secrets hidden in Kotaro’s heart have unleashed ruthless ambition in many, Nanashi embarks on his destiny to meet Luo Lang, the man who will become his sworn enemy. When the tidal waves of cruel calculation crash onto the shore, what will be the fate of Nanashi and Kotaro?”
