Introduction
One thousand years have passed since the mysterious extra-terrestrial life form the Gauna destroyed the solar system. Those humans who escaped from Earth inhabit a giant space station named Sidonia. One of them, Nagate Tanikaze, who lives secretly in Sidonia’s deepest core, is chosen for training with the Morito, the humanoid robotic knights. For the first time he is in regular training with new friends, but the Gauna are back after 100 years.
