Director Sunao Katabuchi, who has spoken about his latest animation projects at every edition since the first festival, returns to Niigata once again to discuss his new film The Ladies in Brown (Tsurubami-iro no Nagiko-tachi).
One year has passed since his previous talk—what stories from the Heian period will he share this time? He will also speak about the current production process and the new challenges he is undertaking in creating this ambitious animated feature.
