【In Memoriam】Director Hur Bum-wook

【In Memoriam】We are deeply saddened by the passing of Director Hur Bum-wook on July 28, at the age of 43.

His film Pig That Survived Foot-and-Mouth Disease was selected to compete for the Grand Prix in the Feature Film Competition at the 3rd Niigata International Animation Film Festival (2025), following its Japanese theatrical release this past May.

Director Hur was a remarkably talented filmmaker whose future work was deeply anticipated. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones.
