NIAFF × Niigata City × The Niigata Nippo Junior Clay Animation Workshop

A Clay Animation Production Workshop for Elementary School Students in Niigata City

As part of the Niigata International Animation Film Festival (NIAFF), we will hold a one-day special event, the “Clay Animation Workshop,” for fourth to sixth graders in Niigata City.
Participants will create loop animations showcasing the transformation of shapes using clay's unique properties.
After completing their works, they will have the rare opportunity to receive direct feedback from festival guest Chris Shaw, former Disney animator.
This workshop, unique to the film festival, fosters children's creativity through international exchange and the foundational experience of making things.
It offers a special experience for future animators to take their first step toward their dreams.
