Totto-chan the Movie: The Little Girl at the Window

The company traces its origins to Tanashi-cho in Nishi Tokyo City, on the outskirts of Tokyo, where it was established on September 9, 1976. In 2009 it became a consolidated subsidiary of TV Asahi, and a wholly-owned subsidiary in October the following year. In 2022 the company renewed its emphasis on animation production, establishing a studio in Kobe. While animation production is defined as the company’s business domain, the company is also developing its screen licensing and content business in Japan and overseas. The company is constantly producing new products to add to its well-known and popular titles such as Doraemon and Crayon Shin-chan. In addition, the company is vigorous and flexible in setting up distribution services that meet diverse viewer needs, so that regardless of where they live, as many people as possible can enjoy the works in any form.

KIYOTAKA OSHIYAMA Animator

Kiyotaka has taken part in several works such as “The Wind Rises,” “Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance,” “The Secret World of Arrietty,” “Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos,” and made his directorial debut in “Flip Flappers.”
He founded Durian Inc. and directed an original animation short titled, “SHISHIGARI.”
At MIFA 2019, he held a presentation titled, “Kiyotaka Oshiyama’s Sakuga Correction Lesson- break the rule.”
Kiyotaka has published “The Oshiyama Method to Sakuga Art: Fantastic Sakuga Series” and “Sakuga Correction Lesson: Fantastic Sakuga Series.”
TOSHIYUKI INOUE Animator
Born in Osaka in 1961. After graduating from Osaka Designer Gakuin, he worked at Studio Junio and as a freelancer before joining Studio Ghibli. His notable works include Gu-Gu Ganmo, Akira, Kiki's Delivery Service, Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, Paprika, Coil – A Circle of Children, The Sky Crawlers, Wolf Children, Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms, The Boy and the Heron, and Look Back. He is also the author of Inoue Toshiyuki no Sakuga Yutou (Toshiyuki Inoue’s Adventures in Animation Drawing) (KADOKAWA, 2024) and others.
ERIKO KIMURA Sound Director
She is a staff member of the Sound and Subtitle Production Department and the Direction Department at Tohokushinsha Film Corporation.
Primarily responsible for dubbing direction for foreign films, he has worked on the Harry Potter series and other notable projects.
His career in anime sound direction began with Yakitate!! Japan, followed by works such as Kekkaishi, The Tatami Galaxy, Tiger & Bunny, Ping Pong: The Animation, Gundam Reconguista in G, Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!, The Heike Story, Call of the Night, Heavenly Delusion, Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night, Dandadan, and more.
For theatrical anime, his credits include Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, The Night Is Short, Walk on Girl, Lu Over the Wall, Penguin Highway, Inu-Oh, and The Colors Within. As a sound recording director, he has contributed to Mary and the Witch's Flower, Earwig and the Witch, Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway, and The Boy and the Heron.

YUKI HAYASHI Composer
Yuki Hayashi from Kyoto was born in 1980. He is a former competitive rhythmic gymnast, and it was in selecting music to accompany his performance that led him to the world of music. He started writing his own compositions while in in college, although he had no musical experience. After graduation, he learned the basics of track making from Hideo Kobayashi, and began in earnest to produce accompanying music for competitive dance in general. He incorporated music of various genres, and focused on the sense of unity with the screen, bringing his perception as a former dancer. His works include the series ‘My Hero Academy’, ‘Haikyu’, ‘Emergency Interrogation Room’, ‘Sakamoto Days’, ‘One Piece Film Gold’, anata no ban desu (‘It’s your turn’), among others.
