本作は日本・中国・ニュージランドのトップクリエイターが集結する4本からなるオムニバス映画プロジェクト“太素（TAISU）”の1作品。映画祭ではこのうち日本で制作された2本を上映する。
監督はアカデミー賞短編部門もノミネートされたことのある森田修平、アニメーション制作は『ニンジャバットマン』や数々の作品で最先端のCG映像で評価されるYAMATOWORKS。
上映にあたっては 森田修平、 渡辺信一郎両監督による対談も行う。
This film is one of the four films in the omnibus film project “TAISU,” which brings together top creators from Japan, China, and New Zealand. The festival will screen two of these films produced in Japan.
The film is directed by Shuhei Morita, who has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, and the produced by YAMATOWORKS, which is highly regarded for its cutting-edge computer graphics in “Ninja Batman” and many other films.
The screening will be preceded by a discussion between directors Shuhei Morita and Shinichiro Watanabe.

小さなころから孤独な生活を送っていた帝国の皇女は、母親の突然の死により、心の空洞は大きくなった。“私は一人ぼっち” 、 そんな独り言に傍らに咲く二輪の花から聞こえる声。それは異境で暮らす神獣族の少女だった。生まれ持っての境遇に束縛される少女と大自然の中で自由闊達に生活する少女。交わるはずのない二人が、不思議な光の球によって通じあう。
The lonely princess Tashen, by chance, establishes a connection with a foreign girl named Aila through a pair of twin flowers, and gradually opens up her heart while chatting with her. However, at this time, the shadow of war looms over them…

Shuhei Morita
森田修平、日本のアニメ監督・演出家。YAMATOWORKS代表。2005年に短編『カクレンボ』で注目を浴びた後、OVAシリーズ『FREEDOM』で監督に抜擢。2015年には『九十九』で米国アカデミー賞短編アニメーションにノミネートされた。代表作『東京喰種トーキョーグール』など、ジャンルを超えた活動で注目を浴びる。
