。蝶屋敷での修業を終えた炭治郎たちは、次なる任務の地、《無限列車》に到着する。そこでは、短期間のうちに四十人以上もの人が行方不明になっているという。
禰󠄀豆子を連れた炭治郎と善逸、伊之助の一行は、鬼殺隊最強の剣士である《柱》のひとり、炎柱の煉󠄁獄杏寿郎と合流し、闇を往く《無限列車》の中で、鬼と立ち向かうのだった。

Tanjiro and the group have completed their rehabilitation training at the Butterfly Mansion, and they arrive to their next mission on the Mugen Train, where over 40 people have disappeared in a very short period of time. Tanjiro and Nezuko, along with Zenitsu and Inosuke, join one of the most powerful swordsmen within the Demon Slayer Corps, Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku, to face the demon aboard the Mugen Train on track to despair.”

近年、アニメーション制作における撮影の役割が以前より大きくなったと指摘されます。完成したアニメーションの絵に撮影の技が最後に加わることで、作品はさらに輝きを増します。寺尾優一さんはそんな撮影の素晴らしさを、『劇場版「鬼滅の刃」無限列車編』を通じて示し、同時にその技は作品の魅力の大きな部分を担っています。

In recent years, it has been noted that the role of cinematography in animation production has become greater than ever before. The final addition of the art of cinematography to the finished animation picture enhances the brilliance of the work. Yuichi Terao has demonstrated such wonderful skills in cinematography through his work on the film ‘Demon Slayer -: Mugen Train, which also plays a major part in the appeal of the film.
