シンポジウム「 地方とアニメ、その現状と未来 – 新潟から始める地方分散」

日本のアニメーション産業は商業作品を主流とした構造をとり、作品を制作するスタジオの多くは東京に集中してきました。アナログ時代は原画など中間素材のやりとりや、テレビ局へのテープ納品とそのための現像が必要で、これがスタジオが東京に集 中する 1 つの理由となっていました。しかし、現在はデジタル化と通信技術の向上によって東京立地の優位性は薄れ、地方へのスタジオ進出が進みつつあります。
本公開研究会では、新潟をはじめ日本各地にスタジオが分散した未来が、現状の課題解決、産業構造の革新に繋がるかという視点にて議論を行います。

"The Japanese animation industry has been dominated by commercial productions and the studios producing them have been concentrated in Tokyo. During analogue production, it was necessary to send and receive materials such as original drawings, and develop and deliver tapes to TV stations, which was one reason for the concentration in Tokyo. However, the advantages of a Tokyo location are now fading due to digitalisation and improvements in communication technology, and studios are increasingly moving into regional areas. This open workshop will discuss from the perspective of whether a future with studios dispersed throughout Niigata and the rest of Japan will lead to solutions to current problems and innovation in the industrial structure.
