Introduction

Makoto, a girl in the second summer of high school, happily spends every day hanging out with her two classmates Kosuke, who plans to go to medical school, and Chiaki who transferred to her school in the spring. One day, in the instant that Makoto is going over a railroad crossing on her broken bicycle, she has a mysterious encounter. When she tells her aunt Kazuko about it, Kazuko explains that Makoto has had a time-leap, and that it’s quite common for girls of her age.
Makoto begins to use this new-found power repeatedly to leap out of day-to-day hassles and embarrassments. For a while, everything is rosy. But there is a limit to how often she can leap through time, and now she has only leap left. To convey her true feelings to Chiaki and to get the “precious time” back, Makoto uses her last leap to regain lost time.
