Animated film based on Mitsuru Kaneko’s Slime Adventure, which was serialised in Shueisha’s children’s game magazine V Jump. The main character is a slime from Square Enix’s computer RPG Dragon Quest series. The film was an original animation shown at the Fan Festival event “V Fes ’99”. The slime ‘Surakichi’ has a his-own-person personality. The film depicts his humorous adventurous journey with the bandit ‘Wolf’ who is pushed around by him.

Made feature-length directorial debut in 2004 with the film Mind Game. His film Lu Over the Wall won the Annecy International Animated Film Festival's top prize, the Crystal Award. His film Ride Your Wave won the Golden Goblet Award for Best Animation Film at the Shanghai International Film Festival. Other notable works include Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! Ping Pong the Animation"", ""The Night is Short, Girls, Walk"", ""DEVILMAN crybaby"" and ""The Tatami Garaxy"". His latest theatre directed film, INU-OH, was also nominated at the world's most prestigious film festivals."
